Each tube contains:
Hydroquinone 20 mg
Tretinoin 0.25 mg

Corticosteroid fluocinolone is combined with hydroquinone and tretinoin which reduces inflammation caused by them and also inhibits melanocyte metabolism.

Mechanism of action

Melanin is a natural pigment which impart color to skin and is synthesized in specialized cytoplasmic organelles called melanosomes. Tyrosine is a precursor of melanin and within melanosome, it is converted to the active moiety by an enzyme called tyrosinase. The melanosomes are more active in the darker portion of the skin than those found in the normal areas of the body. The ingredients in cream not only counter melanosomes, but also the enzyme tyrosinase. Results will vary based on the individual's skin condition and the amount of skin exposure received. Initial improvement is often seen in just 2 weeks; full results generally appear after 2-3 months of regular use. Chlorocresol works as a preservative.
